This course is devoted to ensure structural integrity, to enable an appropriate assessment of strength, to identify and assess potential weak locations in mechanical structures and implement a fracture mechanical assessment. The course is complementary to the course “Mechanics of Solids and Structures”, but does not consider this course as a mandatory prerequisite.
